Instruction

• Please read the instructions carefully before starting the test.
  • You will need a keyboard to type answers properly.
  • Also a sound device (speaker or headphone) is essential.
  • The test consists of listening to audio clips and typing the corresponding letters in Alphabet (Romaji).
  • You may use a tablet, however, it is not easy to handle for taking the test.
  • Please use the latest web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.
  • Please make sure your internet connection is stable during the test.
• Check speaker/headphone sound:
  
  • Please check if the sound device of your computer works well.
  • The sound is intentionally recorded at a lower-than-normal volume, and originally includes some noises and may be unclear.
• Make sure how to type Japanese letters in Alphabet:
  • Please set English input mode on your computer. And make sure that it is not in Katakana or Hiragana input mode.
  • You may try to type some words by yourself: Alphabet-Japanese typing check.

Registration

• To take the test, you need to register your email address.
• You will receive a link to start the test via email.
• Please make sure you can receive emails from the domain "plover".
• Please check your spam or junk mail folder if you do not receive the email.
