宮城県角田は農業地帯です。 東京と、テクノロジーの世界をちょっと離れて、農村のホームステイするプログラムが、２０１８年２月２０日（火曜日）から２３日（金曜日）の３泊４日で行われます。東京工業大学の留学生（院生、学部生、研究生）と研究員が参加できます。参加に関わる負担金は約１５３００円の予定です。 　

Kakuda in Miyagi prefecture is a farmers’ village. We have the home stay program there, far from Tokyo and the world of technology. It takes place between 20(Mon.) and 23(Thurs.) February, for 3 nights and 4 days. The foreign students (B, M, D) , the research students and researchers can join. The cost of participants is around 15,300 yen (the cost can be changed) .

角田農村体験旅行（ホームステイプログラム）は２００９年３月にはじまりました。 東京工業大学の留学生達は、先端の科学・技術の学習、研究のために日本に来ました。そして東京か横浜付近に住んでいます。もちろん、それ以外にも大阪や京都も知っているでしょう。しかし東京、大阪、京都などの大きな都市だけが、日本ではありません。 その他の、田舎の日本も是非経験し、そこに住む人たちとも知り合いになっていただきたいと思い、この旅行を企画しました。

Kakuda home-stay program began in 2009. The students at Tokyo tech come to Japan to study the latest technology etc. and live in Tokyo, Yokohama. They know of course, not only Tokyo but also Osaka, Kyoto and so on. But these big cities are just a part of Japan. We plan this home stay program, because we really hope you to know “the other part of Japan”, country side and people there.

2. ホストファミリーとの歓迎パーティ
3. ３泊４日のホームステイ（各家庭１〜２名）交流
4. 全体での農村体験（そば打ち等）
5. 角田市付近の見学ツアー
6. さよなら反省会

学生の費用は１５０００円＋３００円（保険料）の予定です。交通費、角田での宿泊費、パーティー参加費用、体験のための費用を別に払う必要はありません。移動中に個人的に食べたりする費用は、個人負担です。参加できるのは、研究生を含む東京工業大学の学生(B, M, D, R)と研究員です。先着１５名まで。 　申し込みは、下の申込書(application form)ダウンロードして、記入、サインの上、西１号館受付(W1-118　工藤さん)まで持ってくるか、 学内便で W1-9　まで送ってください。

1. To go to Kakuda city by bus
2. Welcome party with host families
3. To stay 3 nights and 4 days by the host family
4. Experience making “Soba” (buckheat noodle) etc. with all participants
5. To go short trip near Kakuda city
6. “Sayonara” meeting

A participant need to pay around yen 15,000 +300 (insurance) for this tour, including all of the expenses, such as staying by the family, transportation etc. except your personal expenses between this tour.
A applicant of this tour must be a student of Tokyo tech(B, M, D, R), and a researcher belongs to a Lab or other organization at Tokyo tech. Up to 15 applicants will be accepted in the order of application arrival. 　To apply this program, download, fill and sign the application form below, and bring it to the reception of West Building 1 (W1-118 Ms. Kudo), or send it to the mailbox, number W1-9, Ms. Kudo at the reception , through Tokyo tech mailing system.
